Celebrate National Small Business Week with NYC Small Business Services in Chinatown (5/4/22)
Wednesday, May 4, 2022 | 1:30pn to 4pm
Chatham Square (Kimlau Square), Manhattan Chinatown

As the city reopens, the Chinatown Partnership/Business Improvement District are partnering with the NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) for a BIG celebration of SMALL businesses, and we hope you can join us tomorrow in Manhattan Chinatown! Under the theme “Around the World in NYC,” SBS will be visiting all five boroughs, with a specific focus on small business owners. Celebrations include remarks, entertainment, the SBS Mobile Unit, and a resource fair with information from City agencies and community partners. Please join us to celebrate our city's small businesses!

Ways you can get involved throughout May:

Business Assistance
Zero-Interest Small Business Loans
Applications are still open for Manhattan Small Business Booster Loan Program, offering up to $50,000 in zero-interest loans that can be used toward things like small businesses’ equipment, rent, utilities, salaries, and marketing. This partnership with the Hebrew Free Loan Society will help small businesses across Manhattan get back on their feet after a devastating two years. (The Hebrew Free Loan Society is a non-sectarian lender, so you don’t need to be affiliated with Judaism to participate in the loan program.)
