Joseph Cunin
Chief Operating Officer 

Prior to joining the Chinatown Partnership, Joe Cunin was Executive Director of the Lower East Side District Management Association, a business improvement district comprised of over 400 business and property owners and with an annual budget of 600,000. Joe’s areas of responsibility included marketing, security, street maintenance and finance. An accomplished fundraiser, Joe obtained over 200,000 in grant funding for the BID. He was also a strong advocate for the Lower East Side and worked tirelessly for the rehabilitation of the Allen Street Malls, the initiation of an Orchard Street Farmers Market and enhanced sanitation and security for the area.

Joe brings to the Chinatown Partnership an extensive network of government and community contacts as well as extensive experience in the fields of real estate, property development and architecture.
